Family Visitors

We had a few family visitors over the past few months. 
Great Grandma Connie, Cousin Spencer, Uncle Donald "Scott", and Dear Sweet Aunt Jill most recently.

Mason the shark

Hmmm, whats new at 15 months

Physical: Weighing in at 22 pounds he has jumped up on the charts in weight and height to the 50th percentiles. His head is in the 75th.

He is finally growing in his bottom laterals for a grand total of 8 teeth.

Speech: Mason is talking quite a bit now. Not that you can understand him but at least he is trying. And he understands everything we say. Newest words he says are cracker (ack ack) and cheers (chee). Sometimes he will repeat words we say perfectly, but then won't say it again. Papa swears he heard him say Costco the other day.

Allergies: Turns out color safe bleach in NOT ok to use on his clothes. I used that stuff on his clothes and sheets and he got a pretty nasty rash all over his body, even under his hair. My poor little Mason-man was very uncomfortable and I felt horrible for it.

Attitude: He has started to assert his independence and test his boundaries and my boundaries. He is still hitting me to see my reaction. Then he hits himself to see my reaction. It is really hard not to laugh at him sometimes. 

Love:  He is very affectionate towards everyone he sees on a regular basis.  We just love cuddling with him.

Food: He is a bottomless pit. He loves food and eats almost everything. He does not like asparagus this week but green beans and meatballs are good again. When he is hungry at Grandma Cathy and Papa's house, he goes to his drawer, gets out his bowl and hands it to them.

Shoes: We have him in hard sole shoes now. The first few times he wore them he would walk like he was walking through molasses. I should have shot some video of but didn't think of it at the time.

Parents: Not much new with us. My office moved so my commute is longer but I still have a job so yay. Matt is hanging in there and still optimistic about the future.  We are so lucky to have each other and such a wonderful loving family.
