Mason is learning to read at daycare.  He is learning the A words right now.  Ms. Peggy, his phonics teacher, says he has all the basics down but is just learning the concept.  We ready 4 sentences yesterday! 
Ashley's other tooth came out 2 days after the first one.  
She is getting ready to crawl.  She gets up on her arms pretty good and moves herself in circles.  She just hasnt figured out how to get up on those chubby legs yet.

Ashley's 6 Month

Still right on track and just about perfect in every way.  Weight 16lbs 4 oz.  Height 26 inches.
Her first tooth popped through, bottom front.  Her hair seems to be getting blonder and thicker.  Still not much of it but its growing :)

Mason at 3 1/2

He is very smart and learning to write his letters in his phonics class.  His phonics teacher said he excels so much at the phonics portion that she had to check his age.  They are starting him on reading lessons as well.  She said he is a little young but he is ready so we will see how it goes.
He loves his little sister but does get jeaous at times. I see him pet her cheek and kiss her head when he thinks no one is looking. 
He is still way into super heroes and practices his super moves all the time.  Batman is still his all time favorite.
He names all of his stuffed animals Dunk. Not sure where he came up with that name but Dunk it is.

Ashley's 4 Month

Ashley's 4 month appt  12/30/11: she is right on target for a normal and healthy 4 month old.  Reaches for things, starting to blow raspberries, stranger danger... 

Weight 14 lbs 11 oz – 75-90%

Height 25.25 inches long – 75-90%

Head circumference 15 in – 10-25%

She rolled from front to back for the first time at Grandma's on Friday the 13th of January. We couldnt ask for a better baby.  She sleeps for 8 to 12 hours at night and wakes up smiling.  She smiles all day.  She only poops once a day. She adores her brother who likes her just fine. She is just about perfect.
